A key pillar of our mission is to serve as an inclusive forum for citizen engagement. We encourage participation from ALL local residents across the Pinehurst, Olympic Hills, Cedar Park, Victory Heights, Little Brook, and Lake City districts to discuss local topics, share ideas, and shape the future of the greater Lake City region.
The Lake City Community Council is proud to host a nonpartisan Seattle City Council District 5 Candidate Forum on Wednesday, October 7th.
This is your opportunity to listen to candidates Nilu Jenks and Julie Kang discuss their platforms, share their visions for our corner of Seattle, and answer the pressing questions that matter most to our neighborhoods. Topics will cover public safety, affordability, housing, local business support, ecological balance, and transportation.
Time:
Wednesday, October 7th
Doors at 5pm
Event 6-8pm
Location:
Akin North Seattle Family Center
12360 Lake City Way NE
