Our Mission

Our Inspiration

Since our founding in Fall 2025, we've met with hundreds of local residents, businesses, organizations, and city officials. Input and feedback from those discussions are reflected in our mission statement. Our mission is never static and we're always working to refine it to ensure it's inclusive of everyone in the greater Lake City region. For those who we've met with, we hope you see your views reflected. For those who we haven't met with yet, please reach out! We'd love to hear from you!

Our Mission

The Lake City Community Council (LC3) is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive community for all in the greater Lake City region.

  

Champion economic vitality. Support & promote local, small business friendly environment to ensure a thriving neighborhood economy.


Create a safe & accessible environment. Enhance & standup for the public safety of ALL residents. Advocate for a walk, ride, and rollable neighborhood.


Restore & protect our natural environment. Create an urban oasis within the Thornton Creek Watershed. Restore its ecological health/balance and provide green spaces for the community.


Serve as an inclusive forum for citizen engagement. Encourage participation from ALL local residents across the Pinehurst, Olympic Hills, Cedar Park, Victory Heights, Little Brook, and Lake City districts to discuss local topics, share ideas, and shape the future of the greater Lake City region.
